Bidrage med feedbackWe had just heard from the WA closure a few days before our house in laguna beach, ca, and on a laune, tried and got our reservation! we flew out to see thie historic and beautiful waldorf astoria and experience the wonderful ambiente from which we had heard so much. seeing the personal in formal wear for their own celebration was very touching, and a real feeling of the family among them was obvious. thank you to all who inhaled the life in this great place and not laughing at me when I exchanged the last hand towels with the waldorf stamp, lol,! the peacock alley was so full of living with the masters who say goodbye and we were greeted with open poor eating was amazing, hot and deeeelicious! good luck for all hope to see them in a few years when the new project is completed.
It is a very special place where we regularly go for a late lunch chocolate martinis. we are very sad that the waldorf is closed for renovations, hope they will be reopened very soon. it is the best
A moment in history, last night the operation for peacock alley. service, drinks, eating were great at the last moment.
The waitress checking us in was rude. Despite booking in advance the table wasn't set up for 7 and they had to move furniture from other diners tables. We ordered the famous waldorf salad and the walnuts were missing. Overall disappointing and expensive.. definitely got the vibe they were on wind down due to the impending closure. The waiter that served was the saving grace and was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast of fried eggs and bacon, toast extra, coffee extra $90. With incredibly slow service. Good thing they are closing.
