Gramercy Tavern - New York

Delicious food and accommodating staff in a vintage American atmosphere.

Had a dinner in their private room. Service was exceptional and food was awesome. Staff was accommodating and their suggestions were excellent.

Popped into the dining room at Gramercy Tavern for lunch last weekend and enjoyed the food experience. We did the 3 course tasting menu, which was delicious. Steak tartare and crispy polenta were absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. I had a tart for dessert which was excellent as well. I enjoyed a Bordeaux by the glass as well, while my friends really enjoyed their cocktails. The service is on point and you can imagine the experience for a full dinner tasting menu must be incredible. Portions were appropriate for lunch I didn’t leave hungry which happens to me often at tasting establishments. I would definitely go back for the full dinner menu also would love to try the ala carte, tavern menu which we walked past to get to the dining room, because those dishes look delicious as well. There’s a reason this is a New York staple it definitely does not disappoint!

I've had this one on the list for a while, and I am glad I finally made it. The pull for me was the American NY style that I was looking for and Gramercy did not disappoint. The burger with duck fat was very tasty! I know it sounds funny to pay $30+ for a burger, but it truly was a delicious burger. One of the best things though, was the drink that I had. Normally I try to sample different things, however the Fall Classic became an instant favorite! You must try the Fall Classic, so simple and crisp, but gives you the right notes and vibes to compliment the NY fall season! Cheers!

Best Burger I’ve ever had, hands down 11/10. Worthy of the michelin star. Price is worth. The fish and the beef tartare were good, but get the burgerrrrrr. Come here.
