Fonda East Village - New York

The food here was fresh and absolutely delicious. The cocktail was also delicious. The servers wore gloves and followed the hygiene protocols COVID19.

Outstanding food and service on a busy Saturday afternoon!

We had a very loud group next to us, but otherwise the ambiente was good.

Been here four times. Food, drinks, and service are always great.

When you walk in and look at what people are eating you definitely want to eat there. We arrived around 5:00 PM and the tables were full and it was quite loud. We thought we might leave but we discussed the problem with the waiter and he put us in the back corner and lowered the music. By 5:30 most of the brunchers were gone and it would be quite a while before the East Village evening customers would arrive. We ate most of our meal with an acceptable decibel level. If too much noise is an issue 5:30 to probably 7 is a good time to experience the incredible food served at Fonda. The appetizers are especially delicious.
