Fiat Cafe - New York

The food at this restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. However, I was surprised to find out that it was cash only. I had to quickly find some cash to pay a $350 bill.

This is an excellent location for hosting a group birthday dinner! The service was fantastic and the ambiance was pleasant.

Very small cute cafe. The menu has great sounding options however our food was bland and dry. Paninis has no oils or sauces to moisten the dry bread the chicken was dry. Eggs Benedict had overcooked eggs and dry as well. Pasta omelettes were good. Owner did seemed to be taking care of all tables herself was pleasant. Also, this is cash only restaurant which we were not aware of.

This place was great for a weekday lunch catch up with a friend. Most of the people there were not young and looked like regulars, so it was relaxed and relatively quiet, like a pre phone 90s vibe with real people, such a treat. Our server I think she was the only one was such a pro and very attentive despite being busy. A large group of young people came in towards the end of our meal, and instantly had their phones blaring tik toks and speaking at the top of their lungs, oblivious as always. But the place is a real gem.

This is one of the top Italian restaurants in the city, with a very authentic Italian ambiance. We appreciate the great hospitality and delicious food.
