Ess-a-Bagel - New York

We took an uber here and the uber driver said it was the best bagel place in the city. I will say I'm not a big bagel kinda girl. But these bagels were delicious. I ordered a cheese, bacon and egg plain bagel and it was delish. It was toasted to perfection and the service was super quick considering there was a long line. Truly recommend eating here if you go to the city.

Waited in line for half an hour on a Saturday morning. It was good but I have definitely had better bagels in quicker time. They also got my order wrong the first time but they did quickly make the fix. Lox spread was notably very pink

Often touted as the bagel spot in NYC, not hard to taste why. Soft fluffy insides, crunchy outside. The signature has a good balance of flavours too.

Excellent NY Bagel. On the top of our list of foods to eat while in NY we have to have Essa bagels. Essa bagels always are delicious.

I will think about this bagel for the rest of my life. Waited in line for 40 minutes and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never had a bagel with such a perfect ratio of crisp and chewy. I got an everything bagel and went all out and got the everything cream cheese. It was so good. I want to plan another trip to New York just to come back here. By far the best bagel place we tried during our visit and I couldn’t recommend enough! My boyfriend got the bagel that had salmon, scallion cream cheese, capers, lettuce tomato and onion and he agrees its the best bagel he’s ever had too!
