This restaurant is consistently slow, even when there aren’t many customers. Each order takes a remarkably long time, especially compared to other Dunkin' Donuts locations I've visited throughout the city. I understand that being near a hospital leads to increased traffic, but the overall vibe here feels sluggish, often making it a long wait just to place an order. I keep coming back only because I haven’t found another place that serves iced lattes like this one; otherwise, I wouldn’t return.
The food was stale, the customer service was lacking, and it was concerning to see homeless individuals panhandling inside the establishment.
I rated this location one star due to the poor customer experience. It lacks the warm and inviting atmosphere I've enjoyed at other D&D locations downtown. During my last visit, the cashier was unnecessarily rude and unapproachable. Instead of a friendly greeting, I was met with a blank stare and no conversation. For instance, when I greeted the cashier, he ignored me, and when I asked if I needed my receipt, he just tossed it onto the counter. This interaction made me feel both ignored and undervalued as a customer. It was evident that he was uncomfortable in his role. Additionally, the staff appear to favor regular customers, who consistently receive their orders before others. When you add that to the presence of panhandlers coming in from the street, along with long lines and extended wait times, I would definitely recommend finding another place for your coffee.
I have come to this conclusion due to the quality of the customer experience. It isn't the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that I've enjoyed at other places.
