Drunken Horse - New York

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for dinner. The hummus and filet mignon plate were both amazing. The wine selection was excellent with generous pours.

We had dinner at this restaurant on New Year's Eve with a group of 7 before heading to the NYE Party at the McKittrick Hotel nearby. Our experience was not great, possibly due to the busy night. The restaurant was clean and bright, and we were able to easily make a reservation. The food was decent, although the flatbreads were messy and the cheese cigars and charcuterie plate seemed amateur. However, the falafel with hummus and mushroom casserole were delicious. The iPad menu felt out of place for a tapas restaurant in Chelsea. The service was lacking, with only one server and kitchen staff working on NYE. The server seemed rushed and only informed us that the kitchen was closing 5 minutes before it did, causing us to order more food than necessary. He also neglected to mention that coffee was no longer available after 9:30pm. Overall, the experience was disappointing considering the potential of the restaurant.

Overall, the experience at the restaurant was nice, but we were seated next to a very noisy group. We were unable to have a conversation with each other due to the loudness.

Liked the iPad they provide as the menu. Very cool to see pictures and descriptions of all the menu items. That being said, the food wasn't very good and the cocktails weren't that great either. Too bad! I really wanted to like this restaurant

A great little spot to grab dinner. Hummus was excellent as well as the filet mignon plate. Wine was excellent and a healthy pour as well
