Coarse NYC - New York

The food at this restaurant was truly unique and delicious. The seafood dishes were particularly impressive, with the tender tuna being a standout for me. The lobster coated in coconut cream sauce was also a favorite that I wish I could have had for my entire meal. The white asparagus was fresh and flavorful, making it a side dish worth trying to recreate at home. The tasting menu was enjoyable, especially with the wine pairings, despite some mismatches with certain dishes. Unfortunately, the steak was of low quality and not very tender, paired with a sauce that seemed to mask the lack of quality. Overall, there were a few menu mistakes, but the execution of the dishes was excellent. While the price was high, I may not return soon, but that's expected in NYC dining.

Coarse is without a doubt one of the most amazing dining experiences in NYC. The restaurant is cozy, the food is delicious, and Chef Vincent is truly outstanding. You can feel his passion in every dish he serves, and it never fails to impress. Whether it's a small family dinner or a big birthday celebration, Chef Vincent always makes the experience special and memorable. I highly recommend Coarse, it is a must-try.

This restaurant was fantastic. Every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. The price is definitely worth the quality of the food. Despite being small plates, you receive multiple courses so you will leave feeling satisfied. For those who don't enjoy wine, they offer the option of a wine-free dinner. For those who enjoy exploring new flavors, this is the perfect place to visit. They have wine pairings with each course, all of which complement the dishes perfectly. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is charming, with a unique touch of allowing guests to write their names in sharpie in the bathroom. The food was cooked to perfection and the desserts are outstanding. I am from Louisville, Kentucky and visited New York for travel, and this restaurant was the highlight of my trip.

Coarse was one of the most amazing dining experiences of my life. My wife and I love trying new places and while I am more outgoing when it comes to food, she is a bit more conservative. We were able to tell the chef in advance about allergies/items we do not eat and he was fantastic in his ability to shift things around. The 8-10 courses we had were delicious and paired perfectly with wines/other drinks. Well worth the price and the ambience is 2nd to none. A casual, high energy vibe mixed with awesome food and a great setup. If we lived in NYC, we would be here on a weekly basis. Chef Vince is top notch and professional in every aspect of the business.
