Castell Rooftop Lounge - New York

Have had dinner here for 2 nights now- not sure if the male) bartender is new, but he seemed overwhelmed the first night, there were a few bar patrons and a few tables seated in the bar, everyone not seated at the bar had to come up to the bar for anything they needed- drinks, pay their bill… maybe he can use some more help? The 2nd night there were football fans sitting at his same bartender) bar; he seemed only interested in talking to them and serving them. Myself and another customer sat down in the otherwise empty restaurant at about 7pm. After getting no service for over 10 minutes bartender busy talking football) I finally sat at the bar even though I don’t drink. Was never offered a menu, but managed to place my order anyway. The food was very good and enjoyable, but when I finished the male bartender never asked if I was done or asked if I would like anything else, just kept talking to the football fans sitting at the bar and ignoring everyone else. I stood up to indicate I was ready to go but he continued to ignore me even though I was only 5 feet away. Also was ignoring most of the rest of the bar too. After spending over 5 minutes standing I timed it) waiting for my check while he continued to talk about football and ignore me and everyone else, I was finally able to get my check from a female bartender who had recently arrived to help. She was very professional and helpful and quickly got my check for meI also noticed she took care of all of the customers the male bartender was ignoring.This is a nice restaurant, the food is quite good, but I have to wonder if the completely empty dining room at 7pm on a Saturday is indicative of the poor service?

This cafe is located in the lobby of a hotel. It is quite overpriced for the buffet and if you order off the menu, they get you food from the buffet. If staying at the hotel, try the nearby Hobee's instead.

I've been staying at the Hilton for a while, the restaurant downstairs is very convenient as well as delicious. Everything I've gotten there is perfect and comes out quick. Gary, one of the chefs, makes a really good homemade salsa! 10/10 experience

Foods good. Can't ask for anything else.Oh! And I got to bring my drink to my room ?

I gave the kitchen try twice during my stay ended up eating a burger twice because that's all they had during the COV-19 epidemic the manager told me he was going to get fresh food and have something different but I'll have to let him slide because of very little guests at the hotel. Maybe if he was on his game he would have asked us to look at the menu and if we wanted to eat there each night he could have made it happen by pre-ordering but again I don't know what to think and I guess I'll have to let him slide as I said
