Cantina Rooftop - New York

The four of us had appetizers for dinner. The guacamole was delicious. I 've never had better (chicken) quesadillas or nachos! The margaritas were pricey but had a kick...well worth it. We had two each. Our server Carolina was wonderful. Other service was very attentive. A DJ played rhythmic music creating an upbeat atmosphere. All in all everyone was having a fun time. We were told at the door that we had to have a reservation...so we made one and were in 10 minutes later. This was a Wednesday around 7pm. I would go back in a New York minute ! Highly recommend!

It was a bit getting used to at first... We didn't really know what to expect. But once you got used to it, this place is amazing ! Food is really really good and the people that work there are so nice and friendly. There is a DJ playing and the music is quite loud, so no chance for a calm and quite diner. But the atmospere is great. After diner we danced a bit, but not to long since it was a sunday. Would definately come back here on a friday or saterday evening to enjoy that last part even more. I really recommend this place. Overall a great place to spend the evening with tasty food and enjoyable people.

Not decorated like the pictures, people trying to hang up 1/2 the decor while we ate. 6oz soda cost more than mixed drinks, only 4 tables filled in the whole restaurant. Food was subpar

Ridiculously loud -we had a 5:30 pm reservation ; could barely hear each other with loud blasting music ..i understand this is also considered a club , but was not expecting this ambiance at 5:30 late afternoon. Food was good and service was fine

Food did not meet our expectations. We heard good things about this place but it was such a disappointment. We ordered chicken pibin and the chicken was dry and unseasoned, on top of that they gave me MICROWAVED tortilla. The 40 dollar steak we ordered horrible and did also had no seasoning. The drinks were also bad. The sangrias did not look or taste like sangria. It tasted like white wine with grenadine on it. Tacos were not also not worth price. The tortilla was soggy and there was no sauce for the tacos. The only good thing about the food was the fries with ketchup...
