Excellent service, our waiter and the staff were very attentive and nice. Nothing fancy on the place, looks actually quite cheap. The food mostly ok but i am pretty upset by the dessert where i felt the restaurant was making fun of me, making me unsure about the quality of the rest: we had a single strawberry. Ok it was really flavorful but it really felt like a joke.

One word to describe this establishment-inconsistent. I have visited Azabu 4 times and ordered delivery once,which of course would deem my rating as precise as one can get. It is such a shame, because I sincerely enjoy this restaurant and would even give it a high 4 star on days the Head chef is working. Fantastic restaurant. One of the best sushi experiences I've had in NY (or the U.S. for that matter) the Omakase was exactly enough food and the quality was 5*. Very friendly staff as well which made it truly enjoyable.

Came here on a Friday night for nigiri omakase. Enjoyed the meal a lot. Shari had good level of acidity and not overly sweet, temperature was just right. The neta (toppings) were seasonal and prepared very well. Service was impeccable and tips is included. The restaurant itself is cosy and would be great choice for a date. Minor gripe is that the size of each piece of sushi was on the small side, and makes it feel less satisfying when you put a piece in your mouth.
