Akdeniz Turkish Cuisine - New York

The service was welcoming and friendly. Super tasty hummus, great bread. The food plates were hot and fresh.

A Mediterranean restaurant with nice decor and service. Highlights were the Falafels and Rice Pudding. The Zucchini cake was okay the seasoning was not my favorite. The Lamb shank was also a bit dry for my liking.

Had the Iskender kebab…. and it was amazing! Perfect amount of pita that had soaked up the tomatoes and butter…. and generous amount of yogurt! Best I’ve had in a long time! So much I couldn’t finish it and had to leave some behind ? Also had the red lentil soup….also delicious.

A very lovely Turkish restaurant. Staff are friendly. A young lady kindly introduced the different kinds of desserts to me. The dishes are delicious. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
