The nearby hookah bar plays loud club music, which can be heard in the restaurant. The food was lacking in flavor and quite bland, but the service was good.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with a few dishes I had never tried before. However, they do not yet have a wine and beer list, but they can serve by the glass. There is no full bar available. The air-conditioning could be better as it felt a bit stuffy. The music selection was not to my liking, and I think sticking to Indian music would improve the atmosphere. The name Akbar means great, but they are not great in all aspects yet.

A very mediocre experience. Maybe with time they'll hone their menu. As of now, there are too many other Indian options in the vicinity, to make this worthwhile. Great price, but I'd rather pay the extra $2 and go elsewhere. I am willing to give this place another shot in a couple of months maybe they'll have improved by then.

I really enjoyed the butter chicken and paneer tikka masala at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the interior decor was decent.

Excellent authentic Indian with attentive service. We ordered several entrees and shared among our group. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Spinach were favorites of everyone in our group. The Tikka Masala sauce is phenomenal be sure to order Naan to soak up every last drop of it!
