Brother's Bbq - New Windsor

I finally found BBQ as good as I get in Louisiana. Hallelujah. My boyfriend especially loved the grits and I fell in love with the cornbread.

The food is really good. The cornbread is delicious, the brisket melts in your mouth. Fast and good service.

I was very happy to make this stop on our way home, and with great reviews, it happened. We were seated upon entering and didn't take long for the waiter to come to us. The waiter was actually a bartender, who didn't really have a great personality throughout the whole experience, but it didn't turn off to be rude after all. The place started to fill up within 5 10 minutes arriving. Right from the menu, the burger stood out, and I had to go with that. The Brothers Classic was what I went with, coming with fries, because I wanted to stay on the low cost side. It was pretty tasty all around, especially the meat being juicy. I finished fairly quickly and was satisfied. The cornbread we got before our main meal was tasty also. I'd enjoy making this stop again, because there's a lot to provide.

First off, I'm used to Tennessee BBQ, specifically Memphis. So when I say I thought Brothers was just ok, it's because I'm comparing it to what I'm used to in Memphis. The staff were very friendly and I liked the live music.

So delicious and a surprising dinner stop on a road trip return ride. Service was excellent. Brisket was one of the best I've ever had. Ribs were smoky and peppery. They even have custom sausage they ship in from TX which was yummy with the right amount of heat. Wish we lived closer. Would definitely return and sample the full menu of southern favorites. Delish!
