Taste Of New Paltz

The best thing about the Taste of New Paltz, has become spending what is generally a beautiful day weather wise walking around with my husband and whichever of my children come. The last 3 years were really disappointing food choice wise fewer choices and not very much diversity. I think the best place last year was the Jamaican food booth. Many 4 5 years back, there were so many more choices and definitely more local places and more diversity of selections. The other thing I notices were fewer vendors of crafty items and more of what seemed to be businesses giving away free pens and bags. I think the only businesses should be The Sparrows Nest. Having said all that, we will probably go again this year, but as we have for the past three years, we will hope it goes back to how it used to be (which was great)!

We love going to this event and tasting all of the different foods. Lets not forget about the unique and amazing different beverages. My favorite this past year was Free fall Sangria.
