The Grilled Fish Orleans was superb! Highly recommend!

Spaghetti and meat are awful. The sauce is thin and sweet, meatballs are dry inside and almost taste minty. Not enough pasta.

You absolutely must not miss this restaurant. It provides an incredible experience in terms of flavor, atmosphere, and service. A big thank you to Liz and Jeanette for their excellent service. The seafood at Frutta Del Mar exceeded my expectations, and I consider myself a seasoned diner. The fresh seafood was cooked perfectly and had a delicious peppery finish. Liz's recommendation of the eggplant was the perfect addition to the Frutta Del Mar dish.

I absolutely adore the BBQ shrimp at this restaurant - it's one of my top choices in the city. However, the fish with artichoke and crab sauce was even more delicious. We opted for their coolinary lunch special, which was definitely worth it!

My mother-in-law remembered the BBQ Shrimp she had more than 50 years ago and recommended that we visit on our trip to New Orleans. We made reservations for our group of 6, although it was probably not necessary during the week. The atmosphere was lovely and nostalgic, and when I FaceTimed my mother-in-law, she confirmed it was just as she remembered. Don't be fooled by the term "BBQ," as it's not what you might expect, but it was very flavorful. I recommend peeling all the shrimp and letting them sit in the sauce.
