Mckenzie's Chicken In A Box

Wow, that meal was amazing. I absolutely loved everything we ordered. I just wish they had longer hours, but I'll be back for sure. The chicken was outstanding, cooked perfectly just the way I like to make it at home (though I often lack the motivation to do so). It tasted like it had been marinated in a light brine or maybe a creamy buttermilk, then roasted to perfection with a crispy crust that made it incredibly tender. The sides were also incredible, especially the sweet potato casserole.

The shrimp sandwich on French bread is incredibly delicious.

I'm about to order two more of these baby yesss, they were fried to perfection.

The 2 Pieces Combo was perfect for my group since I didn't feel like cooking that day!

Back in my college days in Dillard, we used to buy fried chicken that I will remember fondly until the end of my days. Sometimes, I have the urge to go back to NOLA just for McKenzie's.
