Longway Tavern - New Orleans

This was not what I was hoping for. The restaurant was deserted and they only had 5 items available on the menu. My husband and I decided to share a steak sandwich and a salad for our meal. The salad ended up being better than the sandwich. We were disappointed to find out it was more of a bar than an actual restaurant.

The drinks, food, and service are all amazing at this restaurant!

Christmas pop up bar was great! Staff was super friendly!

We had an 8:45 PM reservation and we were seated at 9:30 PM. Cute and festive Christmas decorations. Food was hit or miss. Same for the cocktails

Went here with a friend to check out the miracle Christmas pop up! Made a reservation and called when caught in traffic; were told it could be adjusted and not to worry. Arrived to find no table saved for us (server said it was being cleared, but it actually wasn’t). Snagged bar seats and were luckily moved to a cleared table just in time to eat. Food was stellar! Bartender didn’t want to accommodate virgin seasonal cocktails at first, but I asked a waiter who was able to finagle one anyway. Very nice wait staff kept checking on us. Decor was interesting; a gyrating giant santa by the door was a little much... but it was a quite festive evening, too loud for me on any given day.
