La Madeleine - New Orleans

The place is cute but the food is gross. There soda machine only has very flat soda! The ice machine is broken so they have to go to their freezer and get you ice (no clue how) and it melts the moment you put anything in it so you have to ask for more ice. The salads are warm and the sandwiches taste sour. Don’t go here just go the location in Metairie if your crazing this type of food.

The quality of the food and coffee went to the floor. The coffee should said hot black water , no taste of coffee at all. The croissant sandwich and the spinach quiche was most likely from the day before( my fault because the server warned me if I wanted a fresh quiche and I declined because we were hungry). I tried to complaint to corporate but is impossible to get direct number and verbally complaint.

We ordered from here for lunch and we’re surprised with the poor quality and taste of everything. I ordered the quinoa kale salad with salmon and there was no kale, the lettuce was sparse and wilted, the quinoa was a gelatinous mash with little flavor. We ordered the avocado toast which turned out to be toast with the “idea of avocado” spread on top. The soups were ok but you could get the same quality form a grocery store can. The baguette was ok, but again low quality. The green beans were tasteless and overcooked but somehow still rubbery. Would not recommend.

It was quite busy today, but the service was still exceptional. I enjoyed my ham and truthahn croissant and will soon return for the tasty pastries. Accessibility: parking is limited to less than 8 places and two are accessible to disabled persons. a ramp goes to the dining area and center.

My daughter and I love la madeleines. we're going to get away for an hour to eat there. that's my favorite restaurant. we have just recently eaten there and eating was amazing as always. the croissants are our favorite. they are so fluffy and warm and the best I ever had. during the autumn season this restaurant has the most amazing seasonal food and drinks like the pumpkin season latte. the personal is wonderful and they go out of their way to help their customers no matter how busy they are. a 5-star rating is not enough for this wonderful place.
