Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered this vegan food after a couple of mediocre experiences at other establishments . We had it delivered via post mates. No joke it is the best vegan/vegetarian food I’ve had in my 20 years of being vegetarian. It is pricey, but it is the only place in New Orleans I felt it was truly worth it. I hope to visit New Orleans again just to taste this level of food. 10/10
Delicious vegan food, drinks and attentive service!Visited here for an early dinner and ordered the vg shrimp po'boy, xango dessert and hibiscus breeze drink. Was served a small complimentary salad to start with which was a nice touch. The po'boy was incredibly tasty and the xango was indulgent could have done with some cream/ ice cream but yummy nevertheless.Staff were great and didn't need to call to ask for service as they came round when needed. The restaurant also has a lovely atmosphere!Vegetarian options: Vegan place
Kindred is by far the best food and service we have had during our five day trip to NOLA. We highly recommend the ‘shrimp’ po boys! The LGBTQ cocktail pitured here was one of the best balanced cocktails we have ever had in our travels. Happy hour is from 5-7PM wednesday through sunday, stop in to grab a good deal. Tip is pre-included at 18%, which is a wonderful thing to see a restaurant supporting its workers. The Shrimp Po-Boy was fantastic- crispy, succulent, and decadent. The coleslaw was crisp and fresh, and the bread was incredible. The food here is so good we considered canceling our dinner reservations elsewhere just to revisit this gem. Kindred, thank you for the food, excellent service, and for being an absolute highlight of our trip.Vegetarian options: Vegan Heaven!!! “Its all vegan baby!”Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly. Lots of space between tables and clean bathrooms. No rowdy bar but alcohol is available.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free available, but its all vegan!
Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and ended leaving disappointed. They were very understaffed with only 1 person in charge of the combined task of taking orders, making drinks and serving food for the entire restaurant. The cocktail was underwhelming with little flavor, very little mixing. The appetizer was delicious and was the highlight of the meal. We asked for a shrimp po-boy and since they ran out of bread they asked if it was okay to do a tortilla wrap instead. We said yes but should not have. It tasted and looked horrible. They should have said it was not available instead of offering a really disappointing alternative and ruining the dish. Overall a very very poor experience, We will not be going back.
I had the Brussels Sprouts as the appetizer. Delicious. I ordered the shrimp po boy (made with mushrooms). I asked for ranch instead of buffalo sauce. No problem! Also delicious. It came with a fresh spinach side salad. The waitress came and checked on me a few times. I ordered the chocolate mousse which was delicious. I would have preferred they didn 't sprinkle it with hard red candy hearts. The surprise came at the end with the bill. They added 18% service charge. I checked the menu and sure enough at the bottom it says 18% service charge on all orders. I think this is a sneaky way to fool customers. If they want to charge 18% more, they should charge 18% more and list it as the price of the items. This changed my visit from a 5 star to a 3 star. Sad business practice
