Plenty of local here, kind of like a hole in the wall joint but serves quality meats. Fun and eccentric, charmed, gritty! I?ve actually come here since my first try of it during Katrina many years ago. At times I?ve had some of the best BBQ I?ve ever had and sometimes it was pretty good only. Overall fairly consistent and plenty of tastes to pick from. I do particularly love the pulled pork here, and the pecan pie is pretty tasty! It?s a place I?ll probably return to on themerit of tradition, and piles of smokey meat and sides!

This is one of the best BarBQ joints ???? that I've ever been to. The food was amazing and the environment was quirky and fun. I had the burnt brisket ends, mac and cheese and a salad. SO GOOD. I loved their outdoor seating as well. Getting here was a bit sketchy, though. It's placed near some bad neighborhoods.

Glad I found this place today. The food was delicious. I ordered 1/2 rack of beef ribs, 1/4 pound of brisket and 1/4 chicken with a side of mac and cheese. First off they did get my order wrong because I got pork ribs. The saving grace was that they were fantastic. I will have to go back and get the beef ribs to see if they are just as good. The brisket was juicy and fall apart tender. The chicken was moist with a slight pink center. Mac and cheese was okay. 4.5 Stars.
