Bidrage med feedbackI recently dined at a stunning restaurant with a lovely courtyard where I enjoyed the Jazz brunch. The music was fantastic and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the omelet station and the talented chef who serenaded me while preparing my meal. The menu offered a variety of delectable options, including fruits, salads, crayfish, shrimp pasta, banana fosters, duck, and pastries. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place as a must-visit during your time in New Orleans. A tip for future patrons: make your reservation online for a smoother experience. I initially called and was told there was no availability for the next 3 days, but after checking the website, I was able to easily secure my reservation and look forward to returning.
I arrived at the restaurant during jazz brunch and was greeted with music still playing. I grabbed a plate and made my way to the buffet line, where the waiter poured me some orange juice. The menu included options for omelettes, eggs Benedict, roast beef, duck, chicken andouille, potatoes, and king's bread. The food was delicious, and after a slight hiccup in seating arrangements, I was accommodated at a table indoors with a view of the courtyard. The service was excellent, and although the music wasn't too loud, I imagined that outdoor seating would have been perfect on a beautiful day. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the restaurant and would give it five stars.
I visited this restaurant primarily for the Jazz Brunch, but was disappointed to find that there was no live music. The ambiance of the place is beautiful, but that's about all it has going for it. The food was lackluster and there are much better options in the area. Despite being a buffet-style restaurant, the service was practically non-existent. Our server only mumbled a greeting when we sat down and barely checked in on us throughout the meal. We had to ask multiple times for a napkin and getting butter was a challenge. The total cost for two people, including taxes and tip, came to about $90, which I don't think was worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place to others, as there are better choices out there. Save your time and money and dine elsewhere.
Kind of a letdown overall to be honest. Scheduled a Friday afternoon jazz brunch buffet, and while the buffet food was not bad, there was barely any music being played. One man had a cello out in the courtyard where most everyone is seated, but he didn't play much or at least you couldn't hear him if he did. Definitely not what we envisioned. The food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't tell someone to seek it out. Plenty of food options including an omelette/eggs Benedictstation. The Bourbon bread pudding was the standout star of the brunch! Cool bar inside when you first walk in and worth grabbing a drink. Our server was very attentive and friendly.
So on our third day of our New Orleans weekend trip we visited this spot on Saturday late morning early afternoon. It is strongly recommended to make reservations ahead of time. It received good reviews, so I put it on the list to visit. Now because I don't eat meat I can only comment on the options that I could eat. They did have an array of different assortments of food. There was an omelet bar, a station where you had fresh sliced roasted beef, some vegetarian options, and regular options, there was salads of different kinds, seafood options, dessert options as well as some gluten free options. But in all honesty I think people really come for the courtyard which is very nice. Unfortunately we weren'table to sit in it because it was pouring down rain. But our server, Lee, was extra nice and very accommodating. It was also nice to sit back and enjoy the music from the jazz band.
