So disappointed! The reviews were amazing, but either they rejected since they opened or we had a bad night. I think they went back because I got a five-course tasting menu, and every single thing was moderate. Too much on a plate, without taste, or just no! It's too bad because the place is sweet, and the service was great, but I'll never go back to find out if the cook called sick this day.
Where should I start? We really had the most amazing welcome party/heart dinner for our wedding weekend in Boucherie. People had a ball. My husband and I always say it was one of our favorite parties. That's it. Sara is a dream to work with. She is so much fun, organized, creative and deeply cares that the event is everything you hope for. She had candles and wild flowers on all tables, and especially, got her hands on the special white wine I drank when I met my husband to serve at the party. We also had excellent special cocktails that were as good as anyone I had in town. Nathaniel is not only one of the best chefs in town, he is also such a great person. The staff was top-notch? friendly and totally on it. The food was very good. Our friends are still talking about it. And the environment was exactly what we wanted: charming and friendly and very New Orleans. Thank you. Sara, Nathaniel and all at Boucherie for the incredible party!!!
