Bittersweet Confections - New Orleans

Being a first-time customer, I was thoroughly impressed with this place. From the friendly staff to the delicious drinks and pastries, everything was top-notch. I ordered a German chocolate cake for my sister's birthday on Saturday morning as we spent the day exploring as tourists. I dropped by the restaurant and spoke with the owner, who offered to deliver the cake to our hotel due to our conflicting schedule with a gator tour. The customer service was exceptional! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also incredibly delicious. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I will definitely return when I'm back in New Orleans.

Bittersweet did my wedding cake and it was divine! Not only was it beautiful but absolutely delicious and moist! We did a chocolate/vanilla layer with almond cream in the middle and buttercream on the outside. I had multiple people come up to me and say it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. I can't wait to go back to NOLA and order a cupcake version!

I am so glad I discovered this hidden gem. The restaurant is extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly. I decided to have breakfast there, and it was excellent. I ordered the classic breakfast, which can be customized to your liking. I also bought some pastries and desserts to take with me for later, which were displayed in a well-stocked case. I highly recommend this place!

Bittersweet Confections made our wedding cake and groom’s cake, and we were blown away by amount of detail! Both of the cakes were delicious and they were very easy to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

We found this place walking to the WW II Museum and decided to try their breakfast. It was amazing! All of it! The eggs, the grits, the bacon, and the toast! It filed us up, and we weren't hungry again until later that night. The price was amazing as well. Definitely recommend this place. My kid has already asked that we go back tomorrow morning.
