Altamura - New Orleans

My colleagues and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We enjoyed sitting on the terrace despite the hot night, as there was a refreshing breeze. The server suggested a great wine and our main courses were delicious. The chef even prepared a special meal for a staff member who requested a seafood dish without fried food. Impressive! We were even treated to a ghost story about the restaurant, which added to the cool ambiance.

The restaurant Altamura was mostly empty when we visited, with only 5% of tables occupied. Contrary to other reviews, the service we received was excellent. However, the atmosphere was somewhat affected by the lack of customers. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional or particularly memorable. Overall, if you dine here, you can expect to have a satisfactory meal.

We loved the quiet, peaceful environment that made the conversation easy and relaxing. The food-vale piccat, salad, tomato bisque and desserts-- was tasty. Portions were right. We recommend this restaurant for every occasion.

Absolutely a wonderful place to dine. Everything from the beginning through Dessert was perfect. Our server, Jamie went beyond and beyond to make our experience one of the best we had in New Orleans.
