Rick's Deckplate Deli - New Kent

I went in for chicken tenders because I had heard they are good. I was not disappointed. They are only lightly breaded and quite tasty.The apple cobbler was quite yummy.The special coleslaw, with apple and bacon, was fabulous.The potato wedges were just ok, somewhat dried out. I think I must 've caught the end of the deli hours as the choices were limited.This place is worth a stop.

I currently work here as the cook I love my co workers it's a relaxing comfortable feeling working here I couldn't ask for a better crew they have welcomed me into there family and I wanted to say Thank you

The new owners are members of the community and awesome people. The grocery, beer, and coffee options that they have added are awesome to have close to home. I love that they make an effort to sell local products.

Good customer service. Food was ok. BBQ sandwich was too spicy for my tastes.

They're not open except for gas. Very frustrating when you drive there for lunch.
