York Street Noodle House - New Haven

A fabulous Asian restaurant. This will probably be the closest you will get to Japanese Miso Ramen and it was absolutely delicious (and I’ve eaten ramen from Japan). The rolls were beautifully made and they are definitely worth buying. The price is very reasonable here and they give a huge amount of the dish. The dumpling noodle soup was tasty and the bowls are really cool. All of the food tasted like it was from their original country and you would certainly love them! The food was 5 stars because they tasted amazing, the service was 5 stars because they came to check on us regularly and refill our waters, and the atmosphere was 5 stars because of the nice music and calming vibe. The people also seemed really friendly here. I hope you come here and enjoy all of the food here because it will be worth your time and money. Also I completely forgot to take a picture before but enjoy some pics of plates? Lol

A Disappointing Experience at York St Noodle BarMy recent encounter with York St Noodle Bar was a letdown. As a fervent fan of fried rice, I was eager to try their rendition of this classic dish. Unfortunately, it fell considerably short of my expectations.The dish arrived with a distinct charred taste that permeated the entire portion. While a mild hint of smokiness can often enhance the flavor of fried rice, in this instance, it was far from subtle and instead tasted unmistakably burnt.This experience was a regrettable one, leaving a sour taste, not just in my mouth, but also with my impression of the restaurant. Given the multitude of culinary options available, it’s essential for restaurants to ensure that each dish they send out is of the highest quality.Based on this experience, I don’t feel compelled to order from York St Noodle Bar again. One can only hope they address their quality control issues for the sake of future patrons.

This is my go-to for noodle soup and basil fried rice. Delicious food and friendly service.Food: 5/5

Service was nice, food was terrible. Hate to leave this review we loved the old location and food there for a quick, yummy bite. You really “get what you pay for” here now. I will not be returning

Everything was really good!! i got the kimchi dumplings and the veggie gyoza soup and everything was delicious and came out within 30 minutes of ordering. everything else i tried was good too!!
