Bidrage med feedbackPrimo passo Tre Scalini, get someone on the grill who won't cook everything to death. While Tre Scalini is a nice location at the end of Wooster Street to gather with friends, the food left a lot to be desired. I had to saw my way though the Vitello Saltimboca and the same was true for the veal in the Vitello ala Guiseppe, if you could find it underneath all of the toppings. The salmon special probably spent as much time on the grill as all the other dishes. It was cooked through twice. Even the chicken on a Caesar salad was cooked to death and dry. The service was attentive and the overall atmosphere relaxed, but with so many great Italian restaurants in the area, there just isn't much incentive to give a place a second chance.
We used the smaller room for a family event and had the best experience. Catering was amazing to work with and planning was very smooth. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food was exceptional. The wait staff were such pros and I could relax and enjoy the party. I can’t recommend Tres Scalini enough for a party.
Good and service were outstanding! Ate there for a work event.
It was OK, but I’ve had better. There were some basic errors that will have a few Nona’s not happy. I had the veal Guisseppe (My grandfathers name) and my wife had the chicken Scarp. Please note she was not in a sharing mood so I can only comment on my dish. So…here we go. The dish was not presented in a very appetizing way, see the picture. They used jarred peppers, really what’s wrong with fresh ones? Also, the alcohol from the wine wasn’t cooked off properly. My wife said her dish was lovely. Anyway, probably won’t be back anytime soon.
Absolutely amazing food and service! I had New York strip steak which was phenomenal..I can't speak highly enough about the service, our waiter was Jason whe was the best! Very knowledgeable and very attentive..would definitely recommend!
