Midpoint Istanbul Fine Dining

The meal was spoiled because they served a pepper on my plate that I assumed was safe to eat. I cut a very small slice and put it in my mouth and immediately out without swallowing it. Thank God. My mouth and especially my tongue felt like on the fire. I tried to drink water and eat rice, but it burned. I'd say my tongue felt about 15 minutes in the fire. I'm grateful that I didn't swallow anything because it was hidden. This pepper was only on the side of the main article on the plate and there was no indication that there would cause so much irritation/color. I eat something and that was a first.

Absolutely beautiful ambience, food is delicious. We ordered a pepper tapenade for appetizers that was the best we had. The mixed grill was also good. Standard partial sizes. The staff was helpful. Your desserts are too good. All in all it was wonderfully pleasant experiences.

Always a nice place for dinner, but my food was off tonight. Hard, boiled lamb shed.

Great food, service and ambience as always. It was great to see the restaurant almost full for indoor and outdoor dining last Saturday. One of our favorites in the eclectic restaurant scene of New Haven.

Food was good tasting, but very small portions. The service is super slow!!! The service really spoils otherwise great tasting food
