Libby's Italian Pastry Shop - New Haven

I got the peanut butter cannoli, snoball, peanut butter bar, peanut cookie and a few other things here. The common opinion from the group I was with was that each pastry looked beautiful but seemed to lack flavor. The PB cannoli and PB bar only had a faint peanut butter flavor. Snoball was quite dusty and dry. This place was a bit of a letdown.

The Black Raspberry Gelato was life changing. One of the greatest flavors ever, perhaps. The Chocolate Gelato was incredibly dry and tough, though? I couldn 't even finish the chocolate, just totally inedible. Perhaps it was freezer burned, but I wouldn 't even bother trying it again. In comparison, the Black Raspberry was so creamy and smooth, and full of flavor. The Heath Bar Cannoli was unique and yummy.

Amazing goodies! The Italian ice was the perfect post-pizza desert. The staff were amazing too!
