China Star - New Hanover County

We ordered takeout. It was excellent. The wonton soup was great and the 3 dinners we ordered were better than most Chinese take out dinners I've ever had (and I've had a lot! . Prices were reasonable and staff who took our order was friendly. I recommend the pepper steak and onions; Bourbon chicken; and pork lomein. Food was piping hot and veggies and meat were fresh and well-prepared. We'll be back!

Love the food but please answer your phone. I have attempted to call in for a pick up order and my calls have been ignored, hung up on and placed on endless hold on at least 3 different dates. Food: 5 Service: 2

Terrible food and worse service. ordered General tso chicken, tastes like dirt. Sweet and sour chicken over fried. The spring roll was disgusting. Ended up throwing everything away. The woman behind the counter is extremely rude. I would rather eat the cost than talk to her again. Do not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
