Jacqueline's Tea Rooms Gifts

I recently went to Jacqueline's tea rooms for a family lunch. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Our server, Hannah, took our order efficiently and made sure to cater to all of our needs. We were so impressed with her service that we left a larger tip than usual. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic and the food was excellent. I highly recommend dining here for lunch.

The customer service from Hannah was awful. She showed absolutely no interest in addressing our needs and was rude and unaccommodating. It was my first time at this restaurant, and it looked charming from the outside. The interior decor was sweet and inviting. However, I will not be returning due to Hannah's poor service. She could benefit from a course on how to succeed in the hospitality industry.

The Tea Rooms are a charming spot to enjoy a light lunch or a slice of homemade cake, or even both! It's a cozy and inviting place that I would recommend to anyone, especially those following a gluten-free diet. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I forgot to mention my dietary restrictions at first, but when I inquired about the crispy onions in the salad, the chef kindly offered to replace it with a gluten-free option, even though I had already started eating! And the homemade cakes are absolutely delicious!

Delicious lunch here. Food was freshly made and really tasty. Staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for you. They also cater well for gluten free. Would highly recommend

I had my baby shower at Jacqueline's in October last year and I have meaning to write this review ever since because it was fabulous! We had the venue to ourselves and the owner, Jackie, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and overall lovely. The food was absolutely wonderful. A fantastic afternoon tea with huge freshly baked scones and plenty of cakes! We also had a plate each of homemade sandwiches, salads and a pork pie. Such a lot of food at great value! Jackie allowed us to put up our own decorations and play some games. She did rush us out of the building, even though we had been there a while! She told us to stay as long as we wanted as she was baking fresh cakes! The waitress who served us was also delightful. I had a wonderful experience and as a local resident I will be going more often and recommending. Thank you again! Christina
