Pukhtun Afghan Grill - New Brunswick

Ordered the lamb and chicken platter for 2 people. Priced well with the variety of meats. The Bang Bang shrimp were amazing. The chicken cubes and kababs were great. The lamb kabab was decent. The lamb cubes were a little bit on the overcooked/dry side even though I asked them not to overcook it. Ohh and the lamb chops were excellent. Overall experience was great and will definitely order from here again.

Drove over 30 minutes with over 4 hours before they close, and the server told me we can’t have people inside the restaurant as we only have one server and he can’t cleanup after me, and there was only one table that was busy and other tables were empty. Such a shame, despite me liking their food and my go to afghan place, I will never comeback again.

DISGUSTING! Food had HAIR!!Dirty place, bad customer service, employees have the biggest attitudes. And very over priced! Btw they are not pukhtuns. Im assuming either indian or bangali so the food is not afghan or close to it.

My favorite restaurant!!!! The lamb Kabuli Pulao is exquisite (as is everything else). The atmosphere and service is wonderful! They have outdoor seating options during the summer as well as traditional Afghan-style seating upstairs.Also, their shir chai is the best tea in New Brunswick!

This restaurant has a variety of dishes but can't help but pick the butter chicken. The chicken is fresh and cut into small pieces which is then spread out into the creamy butter sauce. The freshly baked bread that comes with the dish provides an even better taste. The service here is excellent and the people are friendly. I rate this restaurant a 10/10
