Bidrage med feedbackBest Italian market in all Connecticut! Their delicacies are to die for. A lot of imported foods from Italy. Plus they have a deli counter and they make all sorts of Italian homemade food, that you can purchase. Forget the rest, cause Angelo's is the Best!
Best Italian deli in the state. If you don't speak Italian, it's OK. You will understand good food Very nice people too Their meat department It's great . Try the grinders You will keep going back
I work not to far from this deli and was interested in trying it. I received great service from the two nice gentlemen that rang me out and answered any questions I had I asked about the desserts in the dessert case) *I got a lemon cake and cannoli* The only reasons I didn't give them a five star which may change with future visits and editing the review) was because one of the grinders I got was incorrect; I kept it at a four star though because when I called they were very kind to make me a new one while I brought the other back. I think is was the owner who came to the front with the two gentlemen who rang me out. He was going over how to write the order and why it was most likely wrong... The young guy who did take my order wasn't at fault here; the Italian combo was suppose to have lettice, tomato, mayo added with the regular items in which the sandwich only had the meat and cheese on it. The owner again not sure or not) handed me a new wrapped grinder after looking at the other sub that only had meat and cheese on it. I'm happily eating my new grinder which is good and a good size for the price; will be going back again.
Legendary garlic bread. Cookies are on point. I always make a trip to Angel's whenever I am in New Britain. I am also required to bring enough back for the rest of my office.
I wish I could comment on the quality of the food. I 've been there twice and both times I waited patiently for 15+ minutes to place my sandwich order with absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff, to the point where I started to wonder if I hadactually developed the power of invisibility. As I was leaving what appeared to be a manager stopped me and asked if everythingwas ok. Well, no it isn 't. It doesn 't take much to acknowledge the presence of a customer in your store. A simple I 'll be withyou in just a moment would suffice.
