Half Time Pub Grub - New Bern

I was reminded today why I'm just coming in once a year. 45 minutes wait for food because the oil was changed for lunch. The server was hardly attentive with very respected people in the house. No appetizers or utensils were offered. Different prices for the same item on different menus. The fish packaging was quite meh. Not again!

My friends and I go to Halftimes several times a month to watch football and enjoy their chicken wings. We love Sherree, Becky and Meagan; all so nice, professional and hardworking ladies. We were so disappointed by our service with Tammy. Only half of the tables were yesterday during Sunday football when we arrived, we waited 15 minutes for our table before she greeted us. 15 minutes before we get our drinks. We understand when it's busy and the waitress tries, but she was so rude and meant all the time. She talked to a table men and spent all her time with them instead of waiting for the rest of the tables. We noticed that 2 stands with us no menus or drinks for at least 15 minutes, other tables near us all commented on the service. The other waitress worked hard. Even getting a beer took 20 minutes to come to us. I love going to halftimes, but we all agree that we have never been so bad in our lives.

Shows the best place to see the game. Bar offers are immaculate to crumb the huge bar and dining room if not an empty seat in the house. Wings are great. I didn't know that there were no more fifty centimeters of wings and there were eighty dollars of chicken out there, but still enjoyed every piece of it. Given the inflation epidemic, it is correct, but the website could use an update. Great drinks, community and atmosphere. again

I'm new in town and I'm immersed in what I hoped would be my new place. It takes at least 7 positive interactions to overcome a bad first impression. I have no time or inclination. The bartender spent her time socializing with her friends and sharing the banal aspect when her life for all of us. Maybe I was invisible. That's okay, but I have to be honest about my first impressions. In Fairness, the bartender is a working .mom to the school for care. But for all of us who inherited and worked 3 jobs, we must pass the perfunktory.

Stopped in for a burger with a couple of friends about 6:00 PM on a Thursday evening. Place was packed and pretty darn busy. We found a table with folks just leaving, the staff bussed and cleaned it right away. We got our menus quickly and placed our orders. Food came quickly and was prepared just right and was very good. Love their store made crispy chips and well seasoned burger. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat and visit with friends this place isn't for you BUT if you're looking for a fun place to eat excellent sports bar cuisine and like a lively atmosphere this is the place to go. For sure, we will be back. One more thing, the wait staff is efficient, friendly and fun to talk to!!!
