Ol Republic Roadhouse - Nevada City

Fantastic black and blue burgers caused our recently visiting family to take us there three times in a week for the same lunch! There are plenty of great choices on the menu, but the burgers really are fantastic. You can imagine them grinding the steak as you are ordering them.

$40 bucks per person, you do the math. The skirt steak had great flavor but just 3 very small pieces of meat, I literally almost did not have to cut it to eat it, I asked the waiter about it he said the portion should have been much larger but that was the last of the skirt steak that they had, I asked for some sort of compensation they did in fact say would give me a different dinner, I said ok. I walked out the door having paid for two dinners for myself, yes I did argue the fact but I lost, ending bill for 4 people was $188.92 which included 6 glasses of wine plus tip, yes I did leave a tip it really wasn't the waiters fault, he was just the messenger.

Our go to place for great food, relaxed ambience, and lively entertainment.

The pizzas are strange recipes, but they're really good. The servers where friendly and welcomed us immediately. They made sure we were all right and knew our food was on the way.

Great food and friendly service. Just what you would expect from a street house. Parking is filled with all bikes, but the atmosphere and menu are top notch. I definitely come back!
