Les Terroirs - Neufchâtel-en-Bray

My mates and I stopped here on the way back from Le Mans to Calais after 3 hours in the car. It was a very welcome break. Sat outside and had a lovely view of the town. Food and service were good and prices extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend this place

Nous sommes allés ce midi déjeuner dans ce restaurant fort sympathique, nous y reviendrons, très bon accueil, bon service, très bons produits frais et cuisine maison.

The beer was good, and the place nice. Lunch quality below expectations. Price too high re level of quality. Try another one

We visited this restaurant over 2 years ago for an evening meal. We were the only customers there - it wasn't too bad. The friends we went with suggested we try the place again for lunch - at least it was fairly busy. Now for the reality! The board outside said large salads - not offered on the inside menu! So we ordered from the limited menu board. The starters were OK but pretty much industrial, then came the problems, the main courses arrived (served with insipid rice and overdone boiled carrots UGH!) 2 out of 4 were cold so sent back, I had Tuna steak - fried cardboard would have been better! So we finished off with more industrial desserts and paid the bill. My friends kindly treated us but queried the €93 cost which the boss justified with a very weak explanation of the pricing. I calculated the cost should have been about €70-75 and had I been paying there is no way it would have been €93. My friend was just too easy going, although when we spoke later he had realised that we were conned! SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Nous ne venons pas souvent, mais c'est un tord. La viande est délicieuse, elle fond dans la bouche. L'accueil est de qualité.
