Bidrage med feedbackThe Pane e cioccolata was formerly called Eiscafé Panna and is also listed on various websites under this name. The ice cream café operation was completely set in favor of the restaurant but unfortunately because the ice cream made here was really good! The name Pane e cioccolata refers to the award-winning film bread and chocolate from 1974 with Nino Manfredi in the lead. Sensually, a big poster of this movie hangs in the restaurant. In the Pane e cioccolata we go less because of the quality of food, but because of the atmosphere in the beer garden therefore also exclusively in summer. The restaurant is situated in the middle of the part of Neu Ehrenfeld, formerly known as the ink-cracker district, with the beautiful Art Nouveau style and the founding-time façades. The Pane e cioccolata has an outdoor terrace fenced by a high hedge, which makes holiday feelings come up in summer. In winter, the terrace is kept partly by building a kind of plastic tent. The quality of food in the Pane e cioccolata is fluctuating, sometimes really good, sometimes less. The pizza is usually neat, the salads are sometimes no longer so fresh and tastefully rather average, the pasta dishes are suitable, with ruffles up and down. We've eaten very well here, but even less well. The service is also varied, sometimes very friendly and sometimes somewhat muffley, as often happens in Italian family farms when there is a thick air. As I said, the terrace makes it for food there's better addresses within 500 meters.
Great food. Fresh, delicious... super pasta and very delicious pizza. Also for Corona delivery times a real tip for your food. Look forward to the time you can go back to dinner.
For years my favorite Italian! Very familiar and friendly atmosphere:
Italian mood, cheerful in the positive sense, delicious food, one feels like one's family. Unfortunately, no card payment is possible, something else should be done. We weren't there the last time.
Small family business that is somewhat chaotic in service. We had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our pizza, although not much was going on. Apparently, a lot of pizzas were ordered to take away and our favorite. However, as compensation for the long waiting period there was a dessert on the house. The pizza was very good..
