Wodey-Suchard SA - Neuchâtel

I love this place. There is a wide selection of cake flavors and sizes. The minicakes are super sweet. I bought them to organize and apero. Everyone was super happy

There are indoor and outdoor tables. The café is divided into a terrace room and a café in the back. You can buy your pastries and take the dish to a table in the café to enjoy with coffee or tea. They also serve coffee and herbal teas. This is one of the few places that makes Omelettes, but I felt that the interior of the Omelette was not boiled through; Type of Runny so I changed to the seafood salad that was beautiful. We were amazed with the palm trees and butter cookies. This café fills a required niche in Neuchatel and is very popular.

This is the place where travelers must go to buy chocolate and cake when in Neuchatel! There is also a good tea room with friendly service.

We went through the early Saturday vegetable market on the Place des Halles and landed a few meters away in Woodey Suchard. We chose a homemade small breakfast (not cheap), but good and in a friendly atmosphere. The hot chocolate was delicious. A good start in a busy Saturday.

Not much to say apart what in the title. One would expect much more from a historic place, unfortunately the poor service is backed by below avg. food. You know that feeling of oh why did I eat that ?.....
