Whether Spareribs, Schnitzel or Flammkuchen, it tastes sensational and the beautiful beer garden makes its rest to feel comfortable all around. I can only recommend coming here!!! The chance came to the outskirts of Neu-Isenburg and in one of the commercial Schrebergartens I found the Sonnenhof. From the outside he seemed rather unspectacular, a small bungalow next to a mighty chestnut. In the outdoor area there was a beer garden that seemed somewhat sculpted: beer table fittings, individual plastic chairs and tables, parasols, garden pavilions and a cow as well as other figures. The small interior with bar and about 30-40 seats has a very cheerful effect on the first impression, but even if the ambience consists of many colors, statuettes, wall suspensions, table decorations, figures and pictures, it works harmoniously even if it is overloaded overall. On the female sex, it could seem quite unpleasant. My aesthetic feeling is certainly not about any doubt, so I focus on food: The map was very compact and petty-bourgeois, but also favorable in summer. I chose a steak and the salad buffet. The buffet itself seemed quite modest, but was basically okay. The steak itself was very good, like the crimped roast potatoes. The service was very friendly but needed a little longer, as the premises were well visited. Actually, everything was fine, just not so good that I would have to come back immediately or in the near time. For lazy summer evenings, but certainly worth a visit, and be it just for drinking.
After a long time, we've crossed up here with all the men. The reservation worked perfectly and Anni typically friendly. Today it should be primarily Spare Ribs, according to our announcement. And finally there are Wednesdays known as Spare Ribs to the Abwinken. Location: The Sonnenhof is located in the small garden area, therefore completely green. In summer you can sit nicely out. Parking no problem right before. If you don't know, you should know about the way. Sevice: Today the garden was full and in this respect the service was always striving, but nevertheless overwhelmed with the supply of beverages. The impression can be described as a little chaotic. Somehow we've all been supplied. At the end of the event there was a bedding. Otherwise, an always nice, friendly service. Drink: The prices for beer and soft drinks are good and what is served is nicely cool and fresh. Pass. A look into the wine map leaves the selection of red white and rose wines. Peel origin, which is not bad. If we have tried nothing today, a judgment cannot be given here. again and again I am surprised that here in apple wine country you don't get a tip below €4.20; I guess you have to get away with it. No matter the good choice it deserves to be tried once. The great Bacardi Cola had to be greatly improved, but even after that it was possible to suspect that there is white rum in the game with our Bacardi connoisseur doubted whether the white rum is really a Bacardi. Such simple mixes can be better here! Food: The map offers a lot: appetizers such as hand or cooking cheese, potato buffer with salmon main dishes: carving selection from 9,90 to 11,90, pork, ragsteak, poultry, vegetarian, but also that went well-looking flame cake this evening. Common prices As desserts are offered dough dishes Kaiserschmarrn and pancakes. Today I can only judge the Ribs asparagus for buckling with potato corners and garlic scarf and red chilli sauce, so around 10€ is ok. On the way: the two sauces are really imaginative and not the crunch but also not bad. Sharp was not the chilisosse and garlic was very moderately used. Just at Sossen the kitchen should score points! There are potential for development here. The Spare Ribs: There was really Spare Ribs to the Abwinken, which we also perceived. According to the infidel demand, the actual consumption of our troops has not been estimated to the extent without murmuring. Only potatoes are the cost extra aha.. The meat quality was in order juicy and easily detached from the bone. Of course, for this price there are not the slowly grilled (if in the Smoker) Spareribs in marinade. It is usually tricked with precooking before grilling. It is then possible to pick up this with the appropriate marinade and manipulate it with the sweet smokey barbecue sauce and then taste it well. Here too. Only the marinade and sauce do not correspond to an American model to a minimum. So there were staple ribs (like Spare Ribs) with a kind of grill spice mix and a hint of infinable sauce. We had a good appetite. Considering everything, one could put some attention on sauces and dips there, because they can't do much. Little effort to make it better and evaluates the kitchen immensely. Fairly, I'll test something else in the next few weeks and carry on here. Conclusion: Cosy, nicely located, food on average good.
20 guests in the approx.100 people's garden. Operation was friendly, but couldn't ask during the meal, e.g. if drinks were still desired despite handmarking it took 10 minutes - there was my food ate. Lauwarme Costume, salad not variable rather economical the noodles for the towels lukewarm tomato sauce from the volume herkaum.
Unfortunately, the idea with the salad bar is a flop. The quality of food is not very good. The only constant good level is the Ribs.
