Bidrage med feedbackHad to go to the County Clerk so stopped by Dos Vatos Tacos for the first time. Great restaurant with bar and funky decor and outdoor seating. We chose to belly up to the bar and enjoyed a couple of thier craft cocktails as well as nice conversationwith the two bartenders. They make much of thier cocktails from scratch no prepared mixes, syrups here. We had a Mother ofMango which was amazing!!! It was frothed with egg whites and rimmed in candied egg yoke. The mango was tart and the drink nottoo sweet with resemblance to a mango lassie. We also tried the Grandma's Peach Tea which was light and refreshing and a greatpairing with the tacos. The menu is infused with international flavors along with the traditional tacos. We had 2 traditionalbeef tacos, a beef QUESABIRRIA and a pork belly Taco along with chips, salsa and quacamole. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Agreat place to have some fantastic drinks and flavorful interesting tacos but the chips and salsa didn't land for us. We didenjoy the quacamole but would not rate it the best we have ever had. Overall the best thing was the Mother of Mango cocktailand the Pork Belly taco. We are excited to go again and try some other tacos and cocktails.
Lunch menu til 2. Which means you can not order the birria until 2, if that happens to be why you're going. It was definitely why we went. Tacos were very good. Pretty creative. Staff was friendly. They accidently charged us for someone's else's bill, asyou pay after you eat. But things happen, we went back in and they refunded us and charged for ours. Tacos are between $5-7. Iwill definitely return for my birria needs, instead of driving to mandarin for them. Closed Sundays. Second visit update. Wenton a Tuesday, so it was pretty busy. We ended up waiting a long time to get our chips and salsa that we ordered w our meal. After seeing those who ordered after us getting their chips before their meal, we waited in line for a second time to get them.30 mins go by and someone comes to tell us they were out of one of the tacos we ordered. No biggie, ordered something else. 15more mins go by and people who sat wayyyy later than us are eating. Stopped the fella running the orders, who was very nice andapologetic, he checks, offers us some free dip and we get our food about 8 mins later. Still being pretty patient. Until itdawned on us that we had to wait in the line out the door for a third time, just to pay our bill. That's where I personallythink they need a new system. If only for the busy times. But thats just me. This all ended up being about an hour and a halfaltogether. The rock shrimp taco was really good! After bumps in the road for both of our visits, I'd still say the food isgood and the people are nice. But I am hoping for a seamless third visit! Third visit update! Tacos were delish, like usual. They came up with a new ordering and paying system, which worked out those kinks for waiting in line a lot. Getting our foodstill took a little while but it came out fresh and hot and who can be mad at that. I've been trying to order something new eachtime I go. Nothing has disappointed so far. This place is pretty on point.
I love some tacos. I have been wanting to try this place for some time. We went around 8pm. The Birra taco was good. Just not the dip. No one greats you when you walk in. Another customer had to tell us to scan the table and you place your order througha app. Then you share it with your group so your order comes out together. Food didn?t come out all at once which is fine, it?sjust different. Pricing is okay. For everything you see we paid $28. Side note. They have free water from a water cooler. Youjust have to refill. The place is cute and the atmosphere is nice. I will give it another try during the day. 50/50 for me.
These tacos are incredible! Definitely a hidden gem near the beach that's great after hitting the beach. They regularly update their selection for new tacos that doesn't disappoint. Nothing like a Scooby Snack taco with spam!
Best tacos in town! I got the Nashville Hot Chicken and the quesabirria mole chicken, as well as a red sangria. They have beer and wine... But I hear they're getting their liquor license soon.
