Bidrage med feedbackVegan chef Marian Cottle runs the Seedling Kitchen at Old Joe's. You won't find a better vegan menu anywhere else. Our culinary experience at Old Joe's was truly special and worth the trip from Pretoria or Johannesburg. They offer unique accommodations, a labyrinth, pool, and more on the premises. Additionally, they provide vegan products and cooking workshops. Overall, a memorable experience that every vegan should add to their bucket list.
We spent one night (Dinner, Bed, Breakfast) at Old Joe’s Kaia, using it as a stopover between Kruger National Park and JNB. The entire property is beautifully designed, with a large garden perfect for strolling and a refreshing pool. The bungalow was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The highlight of our stay was the incredible vegan food prepared by Chef Marian. Each dish was freshly made using ingredients from their own garden, and was absolutely exceptional and delicious. The breakfast was also a culinary delight. We stocked up on ready-made meals from the house shop for our future travels, which were also fantastic. Before we left, we had a fascinating conversation with Marian about vegan cooking and life in South Africa. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for the best vegan cuisine.
