Oceano - Nelson

Was visiting Nelson and dining solo, so sat at the only spot left at the sushi bar. It was mesmerizing watching the obviously very skilled chef making nigiri and sashimi right in front of me! The service was fantastic and friendly, the food was great and overall vibe really nice. It's a cool room, and a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend.

The sushi is absolutely delicious, the environment is beautiful, and the service is very attentive. The Thai waitress is a treasure here, she is gracious and welcoming. I will come again next time.

Absolutely amazing. By far one of the best sushi places in New Zealand. Authentic. It's pricey but worth it for that special occasion Really quiet and nice atmosphere too. Make a reservation because it can get busy sometimes!

Wonderfull food, amazing fresh fish. Sitting on the counter is highly recommended!

Excellent quality and very fresh fish. Better booking in advance because there are not many tables. Nice seating in front of the sushi chef.
