Don't believe the reviews. I'm not sure why other customers are bagging this place? Yes owner may have changed hands but all the staff cooking are the same as previously. I have found no difference in the quality and serving sizes. Calamari melt in your mouth with a crispy batter. Fish great quality and cooked to perfection. Chips if eaten straight away delicious. I will definitely continue to recommend and come back here

Gone off the boil. I used to be a regular and it used to be great. Apparently it changed hands some time since I last went there, bottom line is I won't be going back. Biggest issue was that I ordered 3 serves of fish and discovered when I got home they only gave me 1 serve, and they did charge me for 3. The 1 piece I did get (grilled) had far too much lemon pepper seasoning on it making almost inedible. Not happy. Lost a customer permanently.

Tried Fish Tales for the first time tonight, and came in with high hopes considering the high rating. Ordered the seafood combination and mini fish and chips... Unfortunately It was the most underwhelming, tasteless fish with the most tasteless cardboard chips. Won't be coming back to say the least. Worst $30 spent.

Abominable. Was craving good fish and chips last night and what we got was terrible. Ordered fish and chips for 2. 2 sides of fish with chips and a serve of calamari. Cost $45. Soggy, unseasoned chips, soggy fish and calamari was meh. Never coming back.

Hopeless. Looks like this has been taken over by new owners. Stood at the counter waiting for 7 minutes not even acknedged. 2 of the staff conversed in Japanese directly in front me didn't acknowledge me while they tried to work the till. Chips were already sitting cooked in the serving tray with no one waiting. Use to be my favourite fish and chip store...
