We were in new orleans, their famous beignets can not keep a candle at french market express, all they offer is delicious. la Ag-Kommissar mike strain says yams are a big deal for louisiana, I told him that they must try French market express yam cake, it is worth the trip (and I drive out of Texas for it) always clean and well filled. thanks that henderson is for such oasis

My 70 year old mother and I googled Meat Pies and stumbled upon this jewel.. We thoroughly enjoyed our STOP!! We ordered meat pies. 4)2 spicy /2 regular. Ohhh and I had to try the catfish PO BOY-superb choice!! Moreover, the food I was pleasantly greeted and delighted by Wyatt ?Earp? head cashier ?Lydia? Liz was definitely your DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH dishing service with a smile. And I could tell they were all trained diligently by Shelly the BEST manager ? as I was told!! Thanks for a great experience!!

Best gas station coffee I have ever had. They were so busy, but somehow quick checkout and back on the road. All the food and pastry looked amazing. I got some kind of cherry flaky thing that rivaled any bakery. So good and super friendly, efficient staff! Definitely don't drive by

Stopped here after a trip to the nearby Alligator farm and was pleasantly surprised. I got a fried shrimp po-boy and my husband had a meat pie and boudin balls and everything was delicious! Beyond our expectations!

Shrimp po-boy was delicious, shrimp was so juicy and flavorful! Great bakery with yummy sweets too, we loved the beignets. Very clean bathroom, especially for a gas station
