So much for southern hospitality especially when on vacation. New owners since 2016? Because in 2016 the people I thought were owners were over welcoming.
I had the fried chicken.. absolutely fantastic. The little baby biscuits to start were great. The side of mashed potatoes and limas were really good
A wonderful place, behind historic Stanton Hall in historic Natchez. Fabulous atmosphere; great food and service!
This is my favorite childhood restaurant. Apparently, they still make the tiny breakfast biscuits, but the lady who makes them was out sick. I had the chicken and waffles. Mind you, it was hot wings and waffles, a combination I never even thought was possible. And it was amazing! Just the right amount of heat combined with sweetness. I plan to return for the Sunday brunch buffet. Love this place.
Elegant looking restaurant with white table cloths, serving expensive frozen, canned food. Pre-breaded chicken fried steak, the mushy green beans had to come from a can, the cook had to cut into my hamburger steak to check the temperature before they sent it out and it was still rare. Covered in canned gravy. The waitress was the best part of out experience.
