Rippy's Honky Tonk

We came in and were told by the man up front that we could seat ourselves. We sat at a table and looked at the menus for about 15 minutes with many wait staff passing us by. We saw another table in an area where people seemed to be getting served so we decided to move. We sat for another 5 minutes before the waitress came and took our order. We then proceeded to wait over 30 minutes for our food in a seemingly dead bar. The music in every room was extremely loud and the band members were walking around with a tip bucket almost demanding money. When we got our food after the 30 minutes our waitress never came and checked on us and then waited another 45 minutes to give us the check. Water was never refilled in a very hot restaurant and the food was cold by the time it got to us. Don’t waste your time find a better spot to eat.

Taste good but everyone got sick after. We all ate different items. Staff was nice, but the restaurant wasn't clean, at all. Especially the bathroom area (back of restaurant) Disgusting! Same thing for the actual bathrooms. I'm afraid to know what the kitchen looks like. Bar Resque would definitely shut them down. Lol I'm really surprised they are in such a main city and so poorly managed physically.

The live music, drinks, and bourbon pecan pie were all so good. However, the bathroom on the first floor wasn’t clean and the pulled pork was bone dry. I was disappointed by it because I kept hearing raving reviews from word of mouth that the pulled pork here was one of the best in Nashville. The servers are super friendly and it’s a good atmosphere if you like to feel the drums rattle your bones, literally, from how small how close you are due to the size of the space.

The music was amazing, I enjoyed the sweet potato wedges. The drinks were not that great. Overall, it's worth checking out.
