Bangkokville

I was craving pineapple fried rice for lunch one day this past week looked up Thai restaurants close to me Bangkokville had good reviews. I called placed my order. When I went inside the lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly told me that she her family owned the restaurant. Inside it’s very cute exudes warmth. The pineapple fried rice (see pic) was delicious and the lunch portion is very generous. The spring rolls were flavorful crispy. I definitely hope to eat there again … – show

The family/staff were lovely! The food however… I want to like this restaurant so bad but this is my 3rd time here and at this point I had to write a review. There are so many great Thai restaurants in the city and unfortunately this is not one of them. Each time I’ve come my noodles (pad Thai and pad see ewe were over cooked, dry and flavorless. The curry is so watery and bland it should be a soup. Anyone who says their food is good knows nothing about cuisine. Makes sense why every time i go … – show

Had a Takeout order of Basil fried rice and pineapple fried rice and rice was overcooked and wet. They did not follow our spice level instructions. Food was blande.

Best massaman curry ever! Tom yum and Tom kha soups are amazing too!
