The Palm Nashville

I'm agog over The Palm. It's in several major cities and I'm wondering how it escaped me until I moved to Nashville. Number One: They served the best Rioja wine we have ever had, to date (Faustino Tinta Gran Reserve it's excellent!! . The service was relaxed, efficient and charismatic. My companion had a steak with great flavor and perfectly cooked to his liking. BUT, the minute I took a bite of the Veal Martini I just about melted. Veal with Peppers, Mushrooms, etc. in a dark gravy with Vodka. You would think that the dark gravy would make it too rich but that was not the case, you picked all of the flavors of the vegetable and the veal separately that were just slightly enhanced by this delectable sauce. My companion loved his steak but was salivating over this Veal dish. If there is a heaven (or the special place you believe in this meal came from there.

We ate there New Year's Eve 2005. The food selection was very limited b/c of the holiday. Food was awful! Very expensive! Total bill for 2 couples was $400 and we drank water! I e-mailed the restaurant after we returned home from our trip...no reply. Very unsatisfied! Waste of money!

OMG, The Palm has NOT disappointed! Wow! We just came between lunch and dinner and were happy enough to sit right away. Atmosphere was amazing, very quiet and soothing, just what we were looking for. Our waiter was the absolutely best .. very attentive and made great recommendations and conversation. Our food was of the highest quality. The fat cut bacon appetizer was unreal .. soooo soooo good. The steak of my husband is literally melted in our mouth and my salmon was perfect, seasoned and very tasteful! We shared the hashbrown side and it was delicious to have a must! Kudos to the chef and the staff... Thank you for an unforgettable culinary experience. We can't wait to come back!!

I often find myself in the palm. I've seen most employees enough time to know they have good days and bad days.... everyone does. I was there when there are large quantities and if there are fewer guests. Overall, the service was excellent as I received great service from the fantastic Valet drivers to the hosts/hostesses up to the waiting staff and bartenders (bestly I saw in Nashville! Yes, the prices are slightly higher, but the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Every time there was a misunderstanding in the preparation of my meal, it is immediately corrected and treated positively. The entire team works hard to ensure that the entire guest experience is above the top. Thank you for taking care of me when I'm here. I appreciate the time every person needs to develop a relationship with your guests, as well as the friendships I have made in the palm.

Hands down, one of the best places I've ever visited!! Our waiter, Bryan, was so charismatic and friendly. He gave his honest opinions and suggestions on food. He congratulated us for our celebration! We had delicious drinks. My was from the menu, a pomegranate per Bryan recommendation and it was fantastic. We had lobsters, new to me, fried; it's super tasty. Three cheese potatoes and creamed spinach were also delicious. In any case come back!!! Very recommended Bryan! I saw others waiting staff asking our table and others if they need anything. Super attentive staff!
