We were drawn to this restaurant for its Jazz night, and while the music set a vibrant tone, the dining experience left us wanting. The dishes, particularly the red snapper etouffe, were enjoyable, but the overall value didn 't quite match the price tag. The shrimp and crab dip and cheesecake sopapilla were highlights, yet the entire experience missed the mark for an extraordinary dining treat. It lacked the 'wow ' factor we anticipated, making it feel more like an ordinary indulgence than an exceptional one.
Great atmosphere, wonderful experience. But man was the food a let down. Wife and I both had the ribeyes (real pricey) and both were overcooked and mad salty. Not just a tad salty, but abnormally salty. Would go back for the live music and drinks, but not sure for dinner. The calamari was great.
We loved the live music and food here. It was also a nice touch that the Mocktails we had were delicious. This is a Nashville staple and one of the oldest restaurants in the Gulch making it perfect for locals.
We love Sambuca's ! We have been many times, love the food, the music and the whole atmosphere! Recommend to all.
